It’s that time of year again! On Friday March 30th, WLU MSA will be holding its annual elections at 2:30 after Jummah in the Seminary. Don’t miss out on your chance to vote for your President and Vice Presidents for the fall and winter terms!

Purple Hijab Day

WHAT IS PURPLE HIJAB DAY ?
Every year, February 13 is dedicated to the remembrance of those who have lost their lives due to domestic violence. Unfortunately domestic violence is a major issue today, both locally and globally, in every race and creed. Purple Hijab Day has been put into place by the Muslim women in North America to stand up and take action against domestic violence.

Celebrate Mercy
Description

Where: Wilfrid Laurier University (Room TBA)
CelebrateMercy is a web-based presentation that takes place on the internet about the life and character of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The webcast runs for 2 hours and features prominent Muslim scholars and performers worldwide (see CelebrateMercy.com for latest speaker list). The webcast will be moderated by a live MC on webcam who will present the 4-6 minute videos of the 25 speakers/performers.
